📤 Flashcard CSV Template - Bulk Upload

Have existing flashcards in a spreadsheet? Use our bulk upload feature to import hundreds of flashcards at once. This feature is available with Basic tier or higher - no credits required!

How it works:

  • In Surge, go to "My Decks" → "Create Deck" → "Bulk Upload"
  • Download the CSV template directly from the upload screen
  • Fill in your questions, answers, and optional explanations
  • Save as CSV (Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet app)
  • Upload your CSV and preview before importing

Template includes: Front (question), Back (answer), Explanation (optional), Tags (optional), Difficulty (optional)

💡 Get the Template: The latest CSV template is available when you start the bulk upload process in the Surge app. This ensures you always have the most up-to-date format!

Tip: Manual cards are free on the starter tier; study sessions follow the in-app limits (e.g. cards per session on free accounts—see pricing on the main site).
